changing hard drive format

Can you change nfts formatback to a Fat32.I have a hard-drive that had xp on it and would to fdisk it.I would like to remove anytraces of nfts off of it to put fat32 on it.Any help someone can give

Reformat it using a Win98 boot disk. Use fdisk to delete the NTFS partition then recreate the partition and format it using the boot disk.

You cannot convert a NTFS partition back to FAT 32,the only option is to purchase Partition Magic software,that will accomplish this.

Answer 1 refers to fdisking the drive,which you will lose all data,do a backup before attempting this procedure.

Using FDISK,you will have to delete the Non-DOS partitions first before you delete the Primary DOS partitions
