anybody have experianc with changing windows welcom logo or instead of booting message desplay our own logo like compaq logo etc

You will have to create your own BMP file and then find a conversion program to make it a RLE file,go to windows directory find file Vgalogo.rle rename file,the file should not be over 40K

If you mean you the logo during the boot and shut down sequence.
These are usually labelled, logo.sys logow.sys and logos.sys these have to be 127bytes in size.

System Suite 2000 byi Ontrack has many tools, including a section to change the logo's, and will set the bmp to the *right* size without changing your bmp.

Make the bmp you want to use, and use system suite to change it :-) can also go back to the original startup easy as well.
