Cisco Routing Issue From Branch Office

Here's the scenario:

A branch office with a Cisco 1751 router connected to our private frame relay network, branch router at IP 10.0.10.1 (LAN)/192.168.10.2 (WAN).

Corporate office has a Cisco 2620 at 10.0.0.3 (LAN)/192.168.10.1 (WAN for that branch) and a DSL Router at 10.0.0.1 for Internet connections.

There's a path through the Corporate Cisco to get Internet traffic to 10.0.0.1 when the default gateway is set to 10.0.0.3, but I'd like to be able to have the folks at the branch office use that DSL router for their Internet connections.

Can it be done? If so, how?

Here's a couple ideas:

1. Add a route in the branch router that takes them through the DSL router.

2. Add a gateway in the branch office computers that is the corporate office gateway DSL router. (you would have two gateways in the computers TCP/IP setup)

Since your corp users can get to the internet with their gateway set to the 2620 then i'm assuming that the default gateway for the 2620 is the dsl router (ip route 0.0.0 0.0.0.0 10.0.0.1)

So al you need to do is set the default route of the branch router to point to the 2620 (ip route 0.0.0.0 0.0.0.0 192.168.10.1)

Barring any access-lists this will do the trick.

assuming that you ment 10.0.0.1 and not 10.0.10.1 Why not setting up the default gatway of the branch's workstations to 10.0.0.1!

The first hop for the branch office is their own router, which is at 10.0.10.1, so that's their default router. I haven't had a chance to try the other suggestions yet.

I know this has been hanging out here for a while, but I haven't forgotten, just haven't had time to experiment. I'm about to end my contract time at this client and will certainly get this question closed before I move on.
