Cisco SSL VPN Remote Peer Disrupted Problem.

By jrhino77 ·
Hi,

I keep seeing this error message when I try to connect to my company's VPN. When the Cisco SSL VPN for Web loads, after a while it terminates and gives me the error:

" The Cisco SSL VPN remote peer was disrupted. Connection needs to be re-established."

What is causing this issue? I have another PC that can connect without any issue.

Thanks.

Jake

Did you ever find a solution?

Check for Software Firewall.

Are you running Norton firewall? If so disable it and try it. You have to add the ssl.exe program in the allowed list in Norton. Hope this works.

Thanks,
Mike

Same issue with analog context - possible explaination

by techrepublic In reply to Experienceing the same

I'm also using a Cisco SSL VPN to access a Visio network to do maintenance.
VPN is establishing perfectly and ICMP or TSE session a ok.
I noticed SSL VPN disrupted when accessing a Java management interface on a local host.

Looks like the JVM is solicited on the PC and initializing the Java Machine, and this way also re-initiate the SSL Applet providing the VPN.
Still investigation on this issue
