Company VPN conflicts with Outlook SBC/ATT ISP

rdilauro
I run OUTLOOK 2003 on Windows XP and have SBC/ATT as the ISP. Recently they requested switching to SSL ports for incoming/outgoing mail servers. The change was not a problem. However, afterwards I need to install a CBS VPN connection. This works fine and I get mail in OUTLOOK from the VPN side as well as the ISP side. However, while the VPN is up and running, I can not use the SSL ports.
I can not connect to the servers. I need to use the default Non-SSL ports. If I disconnect the VPN, then I have no problem using SSL. I do not see any other configuration I can make on the ISP side and looking at the VPN client there is only a HTTP proxy, which is stated as NOT recomended.
I've tried this with several different VPN's the IBM VPN works fine with SSL or non-SSL. So the problem I think is with the CBS VPN client. I just dont know where or what to have changed to make this work

It seems the CBS VPN is not allowing traffic on SSL ports, you should talk to your administrator most probably they blocked SSL ports traffic, and they need to allow traffic on those ports.
