    Comparing regisrty entries?

    Is it possible to compare two exported registries (let’s say one was exported and saved a week ago, and now I would like to do the same with the current). I want to see what kind of changes have been made within that time.

    They are huge text files (65 MB), so please don’t tell me to compare them side by side, either! 🙂

    This is in a Windows XP Pro environment, but not likely that information is really needed…

    Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

      You might try this program called Compare It, free to download and $24 to register. Its a general purpose text file comparer. You can find more details and download links here:

      There’s another shareware program that might be helpful called Registry Watch. Check it out here:

      Thanks for the suggestion…

      Compare It only checks registry files up to 10 MB, so that’s out…

      BUT, the other title you mentioned definately shows promise…
