Conexant modem Driver for win2k

By PDoyle ·
I was hoping that there would be someone out there that would know of where I could get a compatible Conexant Modem Driver for Windows 2000 Professional. There are 2 out there and I have tried both and neither do anything. If you do know of where one is, please send to me the URL and I would be ever so grateful. Take care and Happy New Year.

First question I have for you is does Device Manager see the card as working? If it is seen as in working condition it may be the COM ports. I found out the other day that Windows 2000 and some system board BIOS have a problem with COM ports. For example I had a Dell Latitude CPi where it was seeing the modem in working condition but would not get a dial tone. I had the latest drivers and everything seemed fine. It finally started working after upgrading the BIOS. Also check on Microsofts web page to make sure your particular Conexant modem is compatible with Win 2K.
