Config Mail On LAN using Outlook Express

By merrik ·
I have set up a 5 win98 pc's LAN. I need to be able to send and receive email between the machines on the LAN. The email component is internal and does not use internet access. I was hoping to use Outlook Express. Is it possible?

I am also going to use the LAN to browse the web from different locations, sometimes it will be normal phone lines, sometimes an ISDN line, do i need to do anything special to configure the internet connection for ISDN?

With Thanks
Merri

I am interested in the program you are using for internal mailserver, whats is it called and where can I find it.?
his should not be a problem configure the clients to point to the ipadress of the mailserver and configure the send a receive mailserver. I have done done with exchange and it worked.

regarding the 2nd part, I cant answer precisely but on the software side you will need to configure the dialupadaper to the location where you are at, with the isp settings.

regards,
