Configuring Outlook Web Access

By NateH ·
Hi all,

I am working on a project where I installed Exchange on a Win2003 Server and would like to have webmail access for the client users.

Is there any documentation or info that can direct me on how to enable or configure this feature?

thanks

Nate

OWA is installed by default on Exchange and is accessible via http://servername/exchange.

If you wish to use a different name other than servername then you can add a DNS Host (A) record with a new name and point it to same IP as your exchange server.

e.g. http://owa.mydomain.com/exchange

If you want to miss off the /exchange, configure DEfault Web site to point to /exchange via IIS Manager.

See http://www.msexchange.org for more info and docs.

Well there are many places that you can get info on it, here is a great place to start. The links may not directly apply but there is great configuration info in the docs!!!. Good luck. P.S. you specified what Server OS you are running, but didn't really give us the Exchange ver?. Try these links:
