connect linux to domain

I installed redhat9 on my PC at work and would like to know ho to connect the PC to the comapny's domain.

well it requires a detail answer but i must give you the overview rest is upto you, you must have the ability to install the software in linux

well install samba 3.0 or higher because later dosent support windows domain

now in samba make an account and provide it the username and password just as it is you type in windows, provide the domain name there
and then move your account to the corresponding group like administrator or user or poweruser whatever your account is in domain

so this make your settings work your linux to logon and utilize the resources of windows domain
