Converting documents to HTML

If you are using Office 2000, then your PowerPoint presentations can be saved as Web pages.

I used WIN2K and also Office 2K, and I have no problem in "converting" the presentations into web pages.

Hope this helps

I found the HTML Wizard for Powerpoint 97 (or v7 or whatever it was called) was truly awful. The resultant mass of files was at best "poor".

For Powerpoint, I really prefer to use Adobe Acrobat (the full version). Yes it does cost a little bit ofmoney, but it is worth it. Once it's installed you just "print" to the PDF Writer (or to PDF Distiller for a slightly different result). If you're running Office97 on Win98, there are macros which result in simple one-click buttons.

For a PPT file, this creates one nice PDF file, one slide per page.

For any "office suite" file, it creates a PDF file that retains "all" of the formatting, fonts, layout and so on of the original, and is effectively "read-only".

And of course, the reader is "free".
