Corrupt database files

By Astute guy ·
I have some database files which I have created on Visual FoxPro. Yesterday I was accessing them but what I found there was very shocking! I'm getting this: the .dbf file header is corrupted. Now I have no idea how to deal with this. I think my files are corrupted or aren't they? What should I do? I need a software program which can repair my files. I searched on Google but I found a huge list. I can't use all of them. Has anyone ever faced this kind situation in the past? Please help me.........!

Well I have used DBF format once in my past. But they never got corrupted. So I can't say anything about corruption. You must use a software application to repair your corrupt files.

Once I read an article about DBF corruption and the software application which can fix it. The tool is something like sysinfotools DBF repair. You can use it. That's all what I can say. Just search it on Google because I don't where it is! And one more thing, you will get its free demo version...........
Best of luck.........

Hey dayen@, well they were not MDB files. Well yes, they were database but not MS Access databases. They were Visual FoxPro's databases.

I use fox wikis sometimes to help find answers to my VFP problems.

However, I have not used any of the tools that are listed on the above link.
