corrupted windows profile

i have encountered a problem with certain programs crashing me out of my browser. I also am unable to remove the browser to reinstall it and believe the problem is a corrupted profile in windows. Does anyone know how to fix something like that. I tried making a new account, but many of my programs didnt show up, then. I suspect is is simply deleting the file and letting windows rebuild it, but don’t know how. I even seem to recall an article in here once about that same topic.

Pay attention to the part about skipping the three user registry files.

The folder structure you copy includes your menu tree, your My Documents folder, My Favourites, etc.

This will not correctly transfer Outlook Express messages. (it states that in the article)

You can import them to Outlook in the new profile but that is a seperate process.

Don’t delete the old profile folder until you are sure you have retreived everything from it.
