Is there any way to create a set of install diskettes (floppies) from a WIN 95B cd?

Are you looking to install W95 from floppies?!

If so, I am not sure that you can from the "B" CD.
The only version of 95 that had a floppy install option was the original version.

I believe that the floppy set from the original version was around 25 floppies. The biggest pain, is that the installation often crashed mid-stream. many people ended up buying the CD after they had the floppies.

If there is room on the target hard drive, I recommend temporarily installing it in a PC with a CD drive.
Copy the W95 CD to a folder on the drive. (I use windows\options)
If you formated the drive as a bootable drive, just boot up and change directories, and run setup. Or boot from a floppy, and switch to the C: drive, and run setup.

If you just need the boot/startup disk, go to www.bootdisk.com.

Yes, I'm aware of all that. MY little girl plays on an old notebook that does not have a cdrom drive. I'm letting her use "IM" and need to load tcp/ip protocol, but in order to do that I need to loads the dll's from disks. Guess I'll just have to use Laplink and run cd off of my notebook. Thanks for the input though.
