Crystal Reports from Excel

By paige.heard ·
Does anyone know how to create crystal reports from complex excel tables? I need to use the workbook approach and a wide variety of complex tables from the multiple worksheets (pages) in the workbook and to export this data to create crystal reports that calculate the same data the excel spreadheet has been doing.

I assume you have tried the Crystal Report Wizard on the Excel program to no avail?

Have you tried exporting your excel data to text file first and then importing directly to crystal???

Also, is your data all on one worksheet? If not, I would get it all on one worksheet in a workbook with only one worksheet, and see if that can import.

If that won't do, can you explain the data more, so I can understand why it can't go into Access first? Even just linking the data?

Is the data in the Excel workbook going to be updated regularly? Or could you export to a CSV file. I did this and was able to see the data in Crystal.
