Right click on the OU that you want to give them rights to, choose the delegate option. A wizard will walk you through it. If your brave, you can also right click on the OU in question, select properties, then go to the security tab. Go to advanced to see what you are looking for.

info on google or some other search engine? Also, wouldn’t an admin already know how to delegate control in AD? How are these clowns getting their jobs?

I wasn’t trying to be mean, just funny.

I do see your point. I have no college degree, but I am Microsoft Certified and have been Novell Certified in the past. I have a hard time getting interviews I am sure because of my lack of college education, but I have always been offered the job once they meet me.

My current boss said one of the things that impressed him the most was my admission that I was sure to be stumped on problems because I don’t know or remember everything, but I know how to find answers and I will get them.

There was once a clueless network admin

Whose skills and intelligence was seriously lacking

He decided to be wise, so he came onto TR asking about password cracking

He was met with resistance and scold by all members

But one is for sure…this is a site of IT professionals he’s soon to remember
