Dell inspiron restore to factory settings?

Hello, I currently have a dell inspiron and am looking to restore the computer to its factory settings. I do not hav any recovery disks and I have recovery partition. I am tryin to find out how to do it -. Any help will be gratefully appreciated

For XP I believe you hit either F2 or F12 to get to the Recovery Option. Or you might have to press CTRL and F11 at the same time.

If you can start the machine it should tell you the right combination to enter the Recovery Partition.

Dell includes a restore utility called 'Dell Symantec System Restore' to reset or restore your Dell Inspiron to factory setting.

This utility is convenient because you're not forced to use the Windows startup CD to restore your computer. http://technical-support-squad.blogspot.in/2012/08/dell-inspiron-how-to-factory-reset.html
