Hi, anyone know how to create a shortcut icon to a folder on a NT desktop, when launch it'll have a split screen with the folder toolbar on the left like regular explorer but defaulted to the shortcut folder?

try this:

right click on desktop, select new, then shortcut. Select the location as winnt\explorer.exe. Once that's created, right click the new shortcut icon and select properties. The "Start in" line is the path to the directory you want, but I'm not sure what you mean by the shortcut folder. Whichever folder you decide to point that to, put it on the "Start in" line.

Hope that helps -

The "Start In" line doesn't seem to work, explorer opens and defaults to the root of C:\
