Direct X Error #35

By Ryan Darge ·
I'm getting a "Direct X Error #35" when I try to play a game. The error only pops up when I turn on "3D Accerlation". I am currently using Direct X 8.0. Does anybody know what this error means? Is their a web site that has these errors displayedon it so they may be looked up. I spend allot of hour in the Microsoft Knowledge Base and came up with nothing. I have also downloaded the newest drivers for my video card and the problem still remains.

Thanks for any help.

Since you have search the MS KB already I would suggest to search on the game manufacturers website for the error , espcially if it only happens with this game.
Maybe your videocard is not supported or is not capable of hardware accelateration.
MS KB http://support.microsoft.com/Support/DirectX/faq/default.asp
and q280069 are in general handy links ta have.

I do not think you can find a list of errors of direct x.
What videocard do you have, and does it support hardwareacceleration ?
Which game is it anyway.?
If you select the same option in another game and it happens again, your videocar is the culprit, else it's the game.
