Disable MS-Dos prompt in Win2000?

By Ryman2 ·
How can I disable the access/use of the MS-DOS prompt in Windows 2000? I am familiar with how to do it via policy editor in Win98 and even tried the same RegKey, but it does not appear to work? I would prefer a policy based solution. Thanks!

you can set a GPO to disable the command prompt.

Open a mmc add the Group Policy snap-in, go to User Configuration|Admin. templates|System.

Can be applied either to a local machine or to a group
