Disable NCSI through gpedit

By Kenone ·
I found instructions for disabling NCSI in Windows 7 through group policy somewhere and now I'll be damned if I can find that site again. Any one know where it is? I'd appreciate it. BTW my co-worker thinks it might have been through secpol.msc but I don't remember it that way. I know how to get to it through regedit but it doesn't work quite the same way.

Thanks

No, I saw that one,

that one just turns off the little indicator flag. There is a way to actually turn off NCSI and make it stop going out to check the website.

But that's through regedit. It works but not the same way.
