disconnect from terminal service

I am running terminal service on a Windows 2000 domain server. I have a promblem with frequent disconnects from the server at two location. How can I determine what is wrong?

If you are using ISA server setup a bandwidth rule. Assign bandwidth to this connection. Also check the timeout settings on the terminal server connection settings.
If this is over a slow wan link see that your routers also have assigned bandwidthsettings for the type of traffic in the IP stack according to the protocol packages.
A server of mine dropped all connections due to the the raid settings in that the processor could not handle the load of the disk systems in place if the file traffic to the server and network usage became too high. In this senario I installed a second net card and did load balancing, switched from raid 1 to raid 5 and it is up. Hpe it helps

If this is for certain users check the user settings for terminal server. This can be set to automatically disconnect after a time period. If you don't find a problem with the hardware settings as suggested above that would be the next place to look.
