How can I implement disk quotas on a NT 4.0 SP5 server and Win9x clients?.

Thanks,
Mauricio.

Your only real answer is to use a third party tool such as Quota Advisor or Quota Manager. It's not until NT 2000 that you can implement 'quotas' in the OS itself.

Do you have anti virus software running?

Esp. MCAFEE AV. I know there are known issues with mcafee conflicting with Outlook on exit.

mcafee. com has the answers...if you dont have mcafee, try unistalling whatever AV software you have and running outlook.

It's only possible with a third party tool. I used SpaceGuard from Simac on our WNT4 servers. Its very easy to use and has a nice graphical iterface which shows you which user is over the limit and it generates e-mail messages to warn admins and users.

Good luck
