DOS programs on a Xeon processor

By ma ·
We need a program to reduce the keyboard pulling of a DOS program in a Win2K Server environment. We have used one called Tamer in the past, but never with a Xeon processor, and there seems to be some kind of problem between Tamer and the Xeon. Any suggestions, or does anyone know what the problem between them might be?

There are a lot of utilities that might work for you....

Try this one:

You might also want to replace himem.sys and emm386.exe with Win98 SE versions of these two files (which you can also find a link to at the above site).

Remove any spaces that embed themselves into TechRepublic reponses. The above link has a space between the number 5 and the _index.html ... remove the embedded space and the link will work properly
