Dual Boot Win98/ME

By saila ·
I would appreciate any advice on installation of a dual boot of Win98 and Win ME. Same drive/partition? Same drive different partitions? Different drives?

If you want to dual boot, then you will have to partition the drive. I am not really sure about the ME (Still new to me and personnaly don't like it), I have Win2k Pro with a Linux partition. The Win2k wants to be the primary boot and so did the Linux. So I boot Linux from a boot disk. ME will probably be the same with the exception you shouldn't need the boot disk for ME or 98. Good Luck!

You should be fine installing them on 2 separate partitions. They just need to be a different drive letter, providing its in a format they can both run off or (fat32) with 98 and ME, this is fine.
