Enableing the remote desktop on win 2k machine

Hi this Jai

I already installed win2k Remote destop component on the win2k machine, but i am not able to connect win2k to win2k. But i am able to connect win2k to xp professional is there any setting in win2k to connect to the other win2k machine

There is no native MS RDP for Win2k

yes, but it comes with a terminal services client you can install

It can't be used as a SERVER(no other system will connect natively for you to see the Win2k desktop)

Of course, you can always use Windows 2000 server...works very well, in my opinion; several of my clients still use it. It's fast.

You need Win2k Server Edition

Windows 2000 Home or Professional doesn't contain RDP Service for any client to connect to it.

Only option is third party software such as VNC derivatives, Remote Admin, PC-Anywhere, etc.
