Encrypt DATA between SAN & Linux Server

By SoHoHelpDesk ·
I am doing a research project and trying to find a device that would be able to encrypt data between an Linux Server and a SAN as wellas a tape backup. Also be able to handle at least 8 Fiber Steams. Has anyone ever heard of a device like this or even point me in the correct direction. I have so far come up empty in my searches.
Cheers,
Michael

I would use IPSec. Keep in mind your SAN must support IPSec, but I assume it is somewhat modern.

If you are using the 2.4.x kernel, make sure to get the new IPSec stuff compiled into your kernel or just update to the 2.6.x kernel.
