Does any one know of anything that we give me a list of equipment that is attached to the network and give the IP Address?

I work for an education facility and want to find out if anyone hase attach wireless access point, etc. I can use Net Stumbler to find the access point, but I want to no what ip address it is use so I can block it.

Thanks
Russ

see if 3com still offers the free 'Network Supervisor' which will scan your network and discover all ip devices with name and ip and mac address. you can block 'it' easier maybe by configuring security within the access point itself. what does net stumber tell you about it? that doesn't tell ip address? can you ping by mac address?

You can try the trial version of Nnetworkview from: http://www.networkview.com/html/download.html
