Error in Win95 startup

By computab ·
After installing a game, we get an error: device write fault writing to device AUX.
abort, retry, ignore, fail. No matter what you choose, the PC will not start except in safe mode. Help!

Seeing you are able to start in safe mode, you need to determine which compnent of the game is causing the error by removing them from your startup file (if possible).

If that doesnt solve I would check with the game manufacturer's web site or tech support. The install may have correupted a DLL or essentail system file.

Good Luck!
