Excel 2007 shuts down/creates dump file randomly

Excel 2007 shuts down/creates dump file randomly. There is no specific macro or formulation that causes this. any ideas?

installed SP1? If not try it. May help.

But they leased a new PC and I didn't hear anything further about it until yesterday.
Now the application event log shows VB runtime errors as follows.....

error 1-

Man I'm at a complete loss.
I do appreciate you help with this whether or not it gets resolved.
