How can I remove a forgotten password in excel?

You also could open the document as a read only, then copy the data to a new file, save it. Works about 75% of the time.

If it is a password to open the file then your best bet is to open it as read only, and copy everything over to a new workbook.
If it is a password to protect a worksheet, or part of the workbook (from the tools, protect menu option then search google for 'password.xla'
this once added into excel as an add in will remove the password for any protected workbook, and allow you to save it without the password

There is only a way to recover excel password, you should try third party software.Go to google and search about this and here i am giving you a Office Password Recovery software you can also try this.This is all-in-one software with this software you can recover all office product password like ms word, ms excel and so on.
