You can add a custom recipient to the distribution list with and SMTP address. You can create a custom recipient that appears in the site adress book. You can create the custom reciepient as you would other mailboxes on the Exchange Server. From Exchange Administrator select the recipient container you would like to create the custom recipient in, click file, then select new custom recipient (or use the speed key sequence Ctrl+R), select the e-mail address type (typically the Internet address type is used for an SMTP address), provide the e-mail address and click OK. You can now add this custom recipient to your server based distribution lists.
