export adobe docu. to Excel

By highlander718 ·
Is there a way to this operation, would any separate softare do this ?
Basically we receive some tables in .pdf format, and we can only copy/paste column by column, page by page which is a pain.

Have you tried importing the PDF into Word, saving it as a document, and then importing the Word document into Excel?

You can then use tools in Excel to slit each line into the correct columns.

I'd walk you through it, but I do not have Excel on this PC.

Tried that. Thing is, data is coming in the wrong format (one single column - same thing as when you try to export directly to Excel)

Chas, just to mention, it comes through as a single column OR data looses consistency as some spaces are ignored, and if I have one blank field in my records, everything is screwed up so you cannot do the text import into Excel.

Thanks for your help,
