Is it possible to recover from a fdisk active partition deletion?

Paragon software sells a program called Drive Backup that can do the job and DIY has a freeware tool called MBRtool or their IRecover can do the job. Links below:

Yes.

Disk Commander which is included in ERD Commander 2003 from Winternals.

If you copied the settings and did not format, most times you can just go back into fdisk and put it back without losing data.
