"Find"

By sw723 ·
I have been changing a lot of things around after I read some of you guru's suggestions, so i must have changed something! This is my problem: When I look for files in the " start", "find", "files or folders" or the windows+f method, I cannot see any files listed! It shows the number at the bottom, but no files in the body...... then I changed the view from "details" to "list" and wala, they are there. Why won't it show the files in the "details" mode? and how can i fix it?

Hello, this sounds frustrating. Hello, this sounds frustrating.

I have a couple questions for you.

What was the last thing that you did before the problem occurred?

What is your OS?

Do any other windows not look right by any chance or just the find option?

Also, do you have a screen shot of what you are seeing that you can send to me by any chance?

Later
Jim
