Floppy Discs

By sw723 ·
I have a huge amount of 3.5" 1.44 floppys that I used back when to back up.
Now i would like to use them in my sony digital camera.
How do you reformat these back up floppys? I think they are somehow protected from that because they are back ups. Can anyone help?

In Windows Explorer select the A drive and go to File> 3 1/2 floppy and choose Format
Or right click the drive in My Computer.
The only protection might be the slider on the btoom of the floppy. It needs to show the open hole to be unlocked.
