Floppy disk reading problem

By iyever ·
I insert my floppy into the drive and open the Explorer on it. I can't see my files there, looks like the floppy is empty. After I copy any file to the floppy, other files show up.

Any Suggestions?

TIA

Igor

Have you tried to refresh the screen? You can simply do this by pressing F5 or going to 'View' then 'Refresh'

In explorer, select options from the view menu and select "show all files"
windows explorer might be set to hide the file types that are contained on the floppy

I agree with the second answer. Select show all files in windows explorer and you should see the files.

I THINK THE BEST SOLUTION FOR THIS ANSWER IS THAT THE DISK MAY NOT BE INSERTED CORRECTLY i.e. PRESS THE FLOPP DISK CORRECTLY, IT MIGHT HAPPEN THAT THERE IS NO MESSAGE THAT THE FLOPPY DISK IS NOT INSERTED CORRECTLY BUT IT MAY HAPPEN THAT THE DISK DRIVE MAY NOT ABLE TO READ DATE FROM THE DISK.
