Does anyone know how to keep the font size and style the same when opened on 2 different computers? We use word 2000. Also is there a way to keep font sizes from changing when the file is saved in word 97 and opened in word 2000? Please help if you can. Thank You, Tammy

      Hi Tammy,

The font size and style for a document does not change. As long as both computers have the same fonts then you will see the same size and style that was in the original document. This is true with a document saved in Word 97 and opened in 2000. You need to make sure each computer has those fonts. If you need more help with the fonts, please don’t hesitate to email me. Hope this helps.

      Jeff

In Word you can embed true type fonts, so the recipient computer will view the same font as the original computer, even if it isn’t installed. Here’s how to do it:
In Word (97 – don’t know about 2000), click on File, Save As. Click on Options… and put a tick in the box Embed True Type fonts.
I suspect the same will happen under Word 2000. Thanks, Gav
