Generic PCI to PCMCIA adapter?

By akajoey ·
Here's my scenario:

I have several Cisco Aironet 340 wireless PCMCIA cards and I have a need to put them in desktop computers. Cisco does not make a PCI adapter for these cards, they sell a self-contained PCI card.

Many other manufacturers (Netgear, Linksys, etc.) make proprietary adapters for their cards. But they do not work with the Ciscos.

Does anyone know of a generic PCI adapter for a PCMCIA card that may work for this application? Other solutions?

Thanks
