By mhartmann ·
Hello Everybody ! Since I would like to keep all my emails as a backup stored at home, I want to download my emails at Techrepublic to Outlook through POP/POP3, IMAP, HTTP, etc. ! I already asked the guys from www.magicaldesk.com (I guess they offerthis service!) but they could not give me any help refering to Techrepublic ! Can anybody help me ?? Thanks !

Getting my Emails from Techrepublic down

by Nicholas Paras In reply to Getting my Emails from Te ...

Ok dude, listen Up. I too get my emails from techrepublic via my outlook express. The first thing you need to do is get your techrepublic emails going to a particular email box. Then get your outlook set up with your providers settings to receive emails in your proggy.

Simple, as long as you know the email servers (POP3, SMTP) of your provider.

A short visit to their website will provide you with such information, or an email to their support team, usually in the form of support@provider.com where provider is the domain name of your provider.

I know this is a bit long but I hope it works.

Regards,

Nicholas.

Well, ya, but serious, do you ALWAYS forward your emails to your other email-account ???? I mean - come on - if you can pick up mails via pop from other email-accounts, you have to pick up the emails from techrepublic DIRECTLY (via POP, HTTP, etc.) - SHOULD'T YOU ?? BUT THANKS
