No hunting where I live..... shame, considering the cost of venison over here! Have a great time - and be careful with the shoulder even with the gun. GG + 0 Votes Hard to believe the date on the great ones jdclyde 6 years ago they just seem so timeless, Chuck did them so well. Too bad everything now is explosions instead of thought and wit... + 0 Votes Deer season is over here Tig2 Updated - 6 years ago Well- not exactly correct- it is over for us. He went up first and second weekend. I stayed home. Just wasn't up to climbing a tree this year. Small game is open to the end of the year. We may get out for grouse yet again. Maybe even bunny but they are way more difficult to find. I think that I will hang out in the truck in my blaze orange (looks good with my hair) and re-read Wicked and Son of a Witch. Or my OS X books. Yeh, that's the right thing! Have fun with the Thing. Maybe the other Thing will come along and spend his day in the cabin. Maybe he needs to hear that he doesn't have to go out and kill anything, just enjoy camp. A thought. Edit. Missed a capital. + 0 Votes We will maecuff 6 years ago be at the beach for Thanksgiving this year. We usually spent Thanksgiving with my mother in law. Since she recently passed away, I thought it would be nice for us to go away somewhere completely different and try to have fun. Personally, I just can't wait for a week of downtime. It's been so long since we've just sat still for a while... + 0 Votes Nope. Not me. Don't hunt. OnTheRopes Updated - 6 years ago All you Bambi killers...

Kidding.

Had you started too didn't I?

I even have my huntin' shotgun out on consignment. Hoping to sell it before Christmas. It's more of a heavy-duty self-defense weapon anyway.

I'm not hunting. Wish you luck and good times. I hope everybody gets one. That'll make for less deer to slam into my truck.

There's certainly enough deer to go around. My son-in-law farms 5000 acres and they chase up small herds of them everyday with the farm equipment. Farmers are glad to be rid of them. Pests that happen to be good to eat. + 0 Votes A different style of hunting Ed Woychowsky 6 years ago I drive to work, does that count? Almost got a doe today and a turkey last week. Cars have replaced wolves, bears and mountain lions as the greatest North American predator. Without some kind of predator we'd be hip-deep in starving deer. + 0 Votes Have fun out there.
