high screen resolution makes office windows hard to read

By us000483 ·
Font size is easy to change in individual documents, but I'm having a problem with the windows (title bar, menus etc) being too tiny to read...what's the easy solution at my current high resolution?

Screen resolution is not always a good way to go.
I run dual monitors, 25" with a resolution of 1920 x 1080. Because of the wide screen if I change the resolution I am not happy with the display. Everything gets distorted and the recommended settings are to set it at the native resolution of 1920 x 1080.

If you are running Windows 7 go to the control panel and click on "Display", you will be offered 3 settings,
Smaller - 100% (default)
Medium - 125%
Large - 150%

Try the Medium stting, you will have to log off then back on again to see the changes but it may be the answer to your problems.
