How can I change windows 7 taskbar color for all profiles?

By 1985cowboy ·
I'm building a win7 image for my organization and I need to change the color of the taskbar for all profiles who may log into it. How would I go about implementing this?

Not sure if there would be a GP setting for this.

If not, find the taskbar color setting in the registry on a machine where you have configured the color you want. Export the setting, then add it to the build wherever you add such reg settings, scripts, and what.

Theme's

I figured out another way. Basically create a theme the way you want it then save it. then use the group policies to force the theme on all profiles. The policy can be found under USER CONFIGURATION\ADMINISTRATIVE TOOLS\CONTROL PANEL\PERSONALIZATION

*NOTE* this will only work on profiles that have not been created yet!
