Which FTP server would this be ?

Clicking on the link I gave you simply takes you to another couple of pages within the HTTP Gateway site. I didn't have any problem downloading the 286KB 'GWAssistantSetup.exe' file. How you are experienceing FTP problems, I couldn't comment.

However ~no matter~ if you use the link again, you should notice on the right-hand side of the screen, an area headed "Driver and Download Options".

Within this area there is a clickable unit called:

Scan Your PC
Use Gateway Update to locate the latest drivers automatically.

If I were you I'd try that. :)

Since you've nothing to lose, you could try this link too ...

Apparently, there is some talk online that Gateway systems have some similarities with components in Toshiba systems.

Try this audio driver then ...

You never know - stranger things have been known to happen!

"Now I need for" ?? - What does that mean ?

Have you now managed to get the sound drivers to work?

Have you run the Gateway Site scan yet?

FYI you cannot have a high definition bus for a modem. You're not making much sense at present.
