got a copy of DOS 6.22 and Windows 3.1? Unless you can borrow a friends full version of 95 installed, the 98 upgrade isn't gonna work.

How can I reinstall Win 98 upgrade

Firstly hopfully you have made a partition for Win98. Then what you do is sys the partition using the boot disk. Then make a directory called WIN98. Then copy the win98 directory (cabs files) from the cd to you HD. then go into the win98 directory on your hd and run setup. When your asked for a previous version try sticking in the win98 cd and point to it.
Make sure you have cd support in config.sys and autoexec.bat before trying this install otherwise you will have problems.

Hope this helps.

Thanks, What you discribe was how I had 98 set up before I Installed XP. Win 98 will only work if it is on the C partition. XP will work on any partition.

Any copy of Win 95, 98, or 3.1 will allow the install to proceed. However, you should install Win 98 before you install Win XP. If you already have XP installed, you may have to reinstall after you get 98 running.
