How could we make a single switch port member of multiple vlan

I have 3 switches in which 2 cisco 2960 and one is l-3 360 switch and 3 vlans 10,20and 30 and their respective subnet is 10.121.10.0/24,10.120.10.0/24 and 192.168.10.0/24 and make few ports part of more than one Vlan

Hi mansoor,

First we need to conform your network (eg:your using cisco L2 and Cisco L3.)
If you are using other brand switch means you should check the compatibility for both.

And if you want to make a single switch port member of multiple vlan you can configure the trunk command in your switch please find the command below
#configure terminal
#interface fasteathernet0/2
#switch port mode trunk

check and revert

Request for Clarification

I'musing Cisco L-2 manageable switches only but the problem is that every N.I.C does not support 802.1q tagging while linux os has support of 802.1q tagging .
