How do I modify the default website in apache2?

By jcwfbi ·
I recently got apache2 set up in ubuntu server. How to I modify what is displayed in the default site. I set up nagios on the server and I can't access it. if I type http://localhost/nagios i get "url not found". The default site says "it's works" when you open localhost. How to I change what it says or do I add something. How do I get nagios site to appear? Thanks..

Have you looked at (and followed) the nagios quickstart guide? (although it seems a little out of date, I guess it should still work, and at least point you to some steps you may have missed)
