How do I realign my printer in Windows 7?

By mathisdispatch ·
Ever since switching to Windows 7, my printer is putting the document a half inch higher up the page. I know it's not the margins, so I thought maybe it need to be realigned.

What brand, make and model printer do you have?

Most of the recently manufactured printers have an alignment function built in,
some will enter this alignment mode when you change cartridges (ink jet printers,
my Lexmark does this...I keep a printed sheet of the alignment pattern handy so
as not to waste another sheet of paper and ink!) Check with the manufacturer's
website, there should be some information there.

It's an HP Deskjet 5650 and HP's website says there is no alignment support for the Windows 7 Driver.
