How do I upload pictures with a discussion

By Tedt-NJ ·
I guess I'm lost or just overlooked how to add pictures to a new discussion that I wish to post.

The easiest way is to get an account at someplace like Photobucket

by OnTheRopes In reply to How do I upload pictures ...

I use Photobucket as it's free and serves my limited needs.
Once you upload your pictures to your account you can copy the picture's HTML Code and paste it into the body of a reply/discussion where you want your picture(s) to appear.<br><br>

A note about adding HTML code

by jdclyde In reply to The easiest way is to get ...

once you start adding HTML code, the whole message is read that way. This means that your "enter" key will not amount to squat and your back to the html code for a break.

Also, if you add the emoticons, you have to use < > instead of [ ]

And yes, color and sizing of text also works. B-)

Other options

Just provide the direct link to the image and allow members to click if they wish.

Or use the direct link and insert it inside the image tag yourself: <br> <img src="http://link.to.image/image.name">
<br> <br>

<br> <br>
Edit: You will also have to use html coding to keep your line spacing. If you have questions, pm me.
