By NS Designs ·
Hi clever people
I am trying to create a exe or .bat file containing about 15 registry entries, as well as setup up files for acrobat reader, nero6, compatibility packs for windows and windows ie8 with its updates. i want to be able to reload a PC or Laptop, load the drivers and load this file (this is basically my preflight that i want in one exe or batch file). please any help would be appreciated

Then you can re-image the drive in about 10 minutes, like a fresh install without all the installing.

Not sure how you are going to get multiple app installation files in one big exe, and it doesn't sound good, either. You could put them all on one disk with a installation script, or use one of the various unattended install kits provided by MS and other parties. Auto-it is an interesting script engine to do these things as well.

We did it circa 2000 using tools like wise install master, batch files, small applets, and a lot of elbow grease, but those days are long gone thank goodness.
